What began in 2009 as one man’s dream has become an adventure shared by thousands. Les Compagnons du Sentier works to promote walking, heritage and human connection. We are a non-profit organisation, affiliated with the FSCF and recognised in France as acting in the public interest.

SHARED GOVERNANCE
The association is led by a board of 12 Archicompagnons, its governing members, organised into areas of responsibility.

Route planning, walking logistics and care for the environment. A charter of secular principles.
HOSPITALITY
Welcoming pilgrims, arranging accommodation and looking out for walkers’ health.
ADMINISTRATION
Administration, finances and the ethical use of resources. Digital communication.

Memory, discernment, communication and respect for the founding Vision.
After 15,000 kilometres towards Mont-Saint-Michel and 15 years of walking, my role is evolving. I am leaving the day-to-day running of the association in the expert hands of the Archicompagnons so that I can devote myself to the Vision: opening new paths, on land and at sea, and holding a course towards the Light of the Archangel Saint Michael…
